Steven Brandt

Steven Brandt is a former U.S. Air Force contracting officer with deep expertise in defense acquisition, SBIR funding, and dual-use technology commercialization. During his military career, he evaluated and awarded cutting-edge innovation contracts across emerging tech sectors, developing a strong understanding of how startups can align their offerings with mission-critical government needs. After leaving the Air Force, Steven transitioned into venture capital, where he focused on early-stage investments in defense, AI, and SaaS companies. His combined experience in public-sector acquisition and private-sector scale-ups positions him uniquely to bridge the gap between government demand and startup innovation.

As CEO of CubeNexus, Steven leads strategic direction, business development, and capital formation. He is the driving force behind CubeNexus’s go-to-market strategy and customer engagement pipeline. Under his leadership, the company was selected by Techstars and secured funding from 46 VC, validating its potential in the $850B geospatial intelligence and analytics market. Steven’s operational knowledge, combined with a strong network in government and venture communities, ensures CubeNexus is well-positioned to scale its 4D spatiotemporal platform into enterprise and defense markets.

Adam Gobbo

Adam Gobbo is a former Marine Corps infantryman and fighter pilot with over two decades of operational experience in high-stakes military environments. He served across multiple platforms including AFSOC’s MC-12 ISR aircraft and F-16s equipped with advanced SIGINT and ELINT capabilities. His deep understanding of mission planning, tactical ISR, and GPS-denied operations shaped his realization of a major gap in how spatial and temporal data is currently used across operational domains. Adam’s career placed him at the intersection of real-world combat missions and cutting-edge sensor systems, giving him the firsthand knowledge required to innovate at the infrastructure level of geospatial intelligence.

As CubeNexus’s CTO, Adam is the architect behind the company’s core technology: the Time United Location System Address (TULSA) framework. He has led the development of both the AI-integrated SaaS platform and the edge-based navigation solution, including contributions to six filed patents. Adam’s leadership has been instrumental in guiding the product vision to serve mission-critical use cases, from GPS-denied navigation to AR/XR-integrated digital twins. With a deep understanding of the user experience in defense, aviation, and energy, Adam ensures CubeNexus delivers operational tools that are both technically advanced and tactically relevant.
